On-demand restaurant delivery giant achieved compliance with Cassie

In order to comply with multiple regional regulations, our client needed to implement a solution to allow their customers, delivery workers and merchants with an easy way to manage their consent. With an expansive customer base, they needed to be able to do this quickly across many different systems.
Our client approached the Cassie Team in 2021 in order to achieve cookie compliance under GDPR. This later expanded to include an API-driven cookie management solution for one of their service offerings.
They were also in-market for a complete consent and preference management solution and were seeking a vendor to provide guidance around how they could compliantly manage their customers’ marketing preferences.
This expanded into a vast and complex multi-department initiative, and we were selected to provide a central consent and preference management solution across the entire organisation, storing in excess of 350 million data subject records.

How we helped:
Our client chose to partner with us on this initiative due to the flexibility of the platform, and our API-first architecture, which is now allowing them to seamlessly deploy our cookie banners on what is set to be thousands of their domains and sub-domains globally.
The significant volume of data subject records was another key factor in choosing Cassie as a solution. Our client required a solution which could manage hundreds of millions of data subjects and billions of preferences in real time. Cassie’s capabilities far exceeded those of our competitors in this respect.
A further deciding factor was Cassie’s ability to manage complex consent use cases, and our ability to non-disruptively align Cassie’s data structure with that of our client’s – which is heavily persona-based and required complex business logic and grouping rules to ensure compliance with CCPA and GDPR. This was achieved thanks to the flexibility of Cassie.
Our client has successfully embedded our CMP within their technology stack and integrated Cassie with many of their existing third-party systems.
They are leveraging the platform to remain compliant with the relevant regulations as they expand overseas, whilst continuing to effectively market and communicate with their customer base.
